Rayna neared the forest, her eyes already roaming the trees for signs of trouble. She turned around and looked upon Nereida against the sea. The white marbled walls were a red-orange with the color of the setting sun and the breeze blew her dark blonde hair around her face. Distractedly, she pulled her hair up into a ponytail as she gazed at the coming twilight. She sighed and turned around to walk into the forest.

Sunlight streamed down onto the glassy, white sand, blinding if you looked to long. The hooves of his horse pattered almost soundlessly as he neared the grandiose white stronghold in front of him. He had waited a decade to come here. To come home. As the stranger dismounted his white stallion at the infinitely tall gate, a young woman looked down at him from the walls of the castle keep.
